Bournemouth preview: Re-energised Cherries

AFC Bournemouth come into this one on the back of probably the game of the season in the Premier League as they shared a thrilling 4-4 draw with Manchester United at Old Trafford, having been behind three times and ahead once before settling for the point.

The Cherries, under the management of Andoni Iraola, remain one of the better run clubs with fair ambitions this season but the south coast outfit are now winless in their last seven matches in the top-flight.

Burnley preview: Struggling Clarets

Burnley showed signs that they would be competitive in the opening couple of months of this campaign but the Clarets instead head into the 17th match day now sitting six points adrift of safety and badly struggling in terms of results.

The Clarets come into this one on the back of a surprisingly entertaining 3-2 defeat to Fulham at Turf Moor last week, extending their current losing streak in the Premier League to seven matches.

Bournemouth vs Burnley prediction

Burnley are a bad team for the level. They came up with an extreme defensive record that would have been impossible to replicate, matched against an average attacking record that was always going to get even worse at a higher level. Bournemouth need a win, are due a win and came close last weekend. If they were ever to turn the tide on their own poor run of form, it will be at home to such weak opposition.

Bournemouth vs Burnley tip: Bournemouth to win
