Botswana vs Algeria Prediction

Botswana have performed reasonably well at the start of this qualifying campaign with two victories and two defeats in their four matches as they now take on an Algeria side that have tried to reinvigorate what is already a very strong squad.

Under the management of Morena Ramoreboli, Botswana, ranked 136th in the world according to FIFA, most recently shared an impressive 1-1 draw with Egypt in the CAF Africa Cup of Nations qualification campaign and that was emblematic of their general improvement with two victories and two defeats in four matches in qualifying.

They face an Algeria side that have managed three victories and a defeat in their opening four matches as they try and return to the global stage for the first time since losing to Germany in the Round of 16 of the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The north Africans have Vladimir Petkovic at the helm of a very strong squad.

With that strong squad, Algeria have to be favourites for this one against what is a more limited Botswana side but Botswana will be confident they can frustrate an often frustrating Algeria.

Botswana vs Algeria Tip: Algeria to win & under 3.5 goals
