Botafogo vs LDU Quito prediction

Botafogo reached the quarter-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup this summer, managing to knock Atletico Madrid out in the group stages, having beaten European champions Paris Saint-Germain. They come into this one on the back of a 5-0 annihilation of Fortaleza in the Brazilian Serie A at the weekend.

They now face an LDU Quito side that managed to finish top of Group C in the Libertadores earlier this summer, sitting above Flamengo and Central de Cordoba on goal difference. The Ecuadorians most recently suffered a 1-0 loss to Aucas to finish third in the Ecuadorian LigaPro.

LDU Quito are difficult to beat and will present a tough test for Botafogo, but the Brazilians have to remain favourites with their home advantage for this one.

Botafogo vs LDU Quito tip: Botafogo to win & under 3.5 goals
