After seven rounds of Bundesliga fixtures, Borussia Monchengladbach remain the only club left in the German top flight still not to register victory in the Bundesliga this season. As a result, they are marooned down at the bottom of the table and deservedly so, having drawn three and now lost four games following their 3-1 defeat away at Union Berlin last time out.

Falling apart defensively in the German capital doesn’t bode well for them against this Bayern Munich juggernaut, where their backline will need to be flawless to stand a chance of what would be the biggest upset win of the season so far when considering how impressive Bayern have been.

Is anyone going to stop Bayern Munich running away with it this season? Based on what we’ve seen so far, no would be the sensible answer. Borussia Monchengladbach are dealing with a few key issues for this one as Germany international striker Tim Kleindienst remains sidelined alongside the likes of Fabio Chiarodia and Robin Hack.

This has all the makings of a very uncomfortable afternoon for Borussia Monchengladbach. Rock bottom of the table with 16 goals conceded over the course of seven league games and now taking on a team averaging just under four goals a match in the Bundesliga so far this season. Most worryingly of all, is the fact that Bayern Munich just don’t seem to be slowing down or taking their foot off the gas. It’s been full throttle attack under Vincent Kompany with significant potency.

Harry Kane, Michael Olise and co should enjoy themselves in this game and the creativity within that Bayern attack both individually and as a team is likely to see them fashion numerous openings despite Gladbach being likely to pile bodies behind the ball. Expect the visitors to go marching on and make it eight out of eight with a win by at least two clear goals.
