Borussia Dortmund Team News: Potential shake-up

Borussia Dortmund, following the departure of Sahin with Mike Tullberg now in interim charge, could be tempted to make a raft of change for this one. They have a couple of injury issues as Niklas Sule remains unavailable alongside midfielder Felix Nmecha.

Predicted XI (4-3-3): Kobel; Gross, Anton, Schlotterbeck, Ryerson; Beier, Can, Reyna; Duranville, Guirassy, Bynoe-Gittens

Unavailable: Sule (Injured), Nmecha (Injured)

Shakhtar Donetsk Team News: Maycon a doubt

The visitors to the Westfalenstadion have been dealing with several departures in recent years so have a smaller squad than they would prefer but they only have one injury doubt for this one as attacking midfielder Maycon deals with a knee issue.

Predicted XI (4-1-4-1): Riznyk; Tobias, Bondar, Matvyenko, Azarovi; Kryskiv; Pedrinho, Zubkov, Sudakov, Kevin; Traore

Unavailable: Eguinaldo (Injured)

Borussia Dortmund vs Shakhtar Donetsk Prediction

Borussia Dortmund remain manager-less as they welcome Shakhtar Donetsk this week. The hosts, though, shared a 2-2 draw with Werder Bremen at Signal Iduna Park at the weekend in a game in which they did lead 2-0 with less than half an hour of the game to go. They now face a Shakhtar side that have, despite all difficult circumstances that they face, collected seven points from their seven matches after a 2-0 win over Stade Brest last week. The Ukrainian champions will smell blood in Dortmund and both teams scoring would appear a good bet for this one.

Borussia Dortmund vs Shakhtar Donetsk Tip: Both teams to score
