Borussia Dortmund vs Monterrey prediction

Ever since the appointment of Niko Kovac, Borussia Dortmund have been much-improved and they have remained strong in this tournament. They shared a goalless draw with Fluminense in their opener before a thrilling 4-3 victory over the Mamelodi Sundowns and then a 1-0 victory over K League side Ulsan Hyundai.

Monterrey began their 2025 FIFA Club World Cup campaign with an impressive 1-1 draw against Internazionale in a game in which they were perhaps the better of the two sides. After a goalless draw with Argentine giants River Plate, the Mexicans then annihilated Urawa Red Diamonds by four goals to nil in their final group stage game.

Borussia Dortmund have had one chaotic game and two more controlled outings, but the former seems more likely against a Monterrey side with huge attacking potential.

Borussia Dortmund vs Monterrey tip: Both teams to score
