Bologna vs Freiburg prediction

After a couple of seasons of improvement recently, Bologna have started this campaign in inconsistent form and they were underwhelming in their opener in the UEFA Europa League. Up against an, as of then, winless Aston Villa side, Bologna suffered a slender 1-0 defeat to an early John McGinn strike.

They now face a Freiburg side that, under the management of Julian Schuster, have continued to overperform after the long-term stint of Christian Streich. Freiburg began their UEFA Europa League season very well with an impressive 2-1 defeat of Basel 1893 at the SC Stadion a couple of weeks ago.

Freiburg appear to be better organised and more cohesive than their Italian counterparts at the moment, and so siding with them would appear a good bet for this one.
