Bolivia vs Chile prediction

After losing to Venezuela on Friday, Bolivia’s hopes of reaching the World Cup next year are fading fast and that simply makes this match at home to Chile, and likely their remaining two matches, must-win games.

They have had some positive results on home soil taking advantage of the extreme altitude in El Alto and they will be hoping for more of the same as they welcome Chile.

The visitors have had a terrible qualifying campaign and they clearly need a serious rebuild and transition away from their incredibly old squad. They remain loyal to their experienced campaigners and they are struggling to compete now with this being one of their worst World Cup qualifying campaigns for some time.

Their motivation, especially on the road in altitude, must be in doubt here and even more for an ageing group of players.

All the desperation is with the home side and while they are not overly blessed with quality, they have the legs and enough to squeeze out a victory here to keep their slim hopes alive.
