Under the impressive management of Kjetil Knutsen, Bodo/Glimt have emerged as a European regular as the force in Norway, even reaching the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa League last season before performing well with three draws and three defeats in the league phase of this competition so far this season.
The Norwegians, who were pipped to their domestic title by a point by Viking, have bloodied the nose of European giants thus far with a 2-2 draw at home to Tottenham Hotspur back in early October, as well as a 2-2 draw in Germany against Borussia Dortmund in their most recent outing.
Man City preview: Inconsistent City
There is speculation, not concrete but certainly not wild anymore, that Enzo Maresca could be in the dugout at Manchester City sooner rather than later with the pressure, somehow, despite everything but definitely showing the ridiculous business of football, beginning to actually grow on the legendary figure of Pep Guardiola.
The Cityzens head into this one on the back of a 2-0 loss to Manchester United in the Derby at the weekend, putting in a performance whereby the scoreline majorly flattered them. It has continued an awkward start to the calendar year, despite the signings of Marc Guehi and Antoine Semenyo.
