Bodo/Glimt preview: Bodo in Europe

Having reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa League last season before losing to Tottenham Hotspur, Bodo/Glimt are again punching above their weight in Europe with in-demand and highly-rated coach Kjetil Knutsen at the helm.

The Norwegians come into this one on the back of a squeezing themselves into the top 24 with a couple of remarkable victories in their final two games of the league phase against Manchester City and then away at Atletico Madrid.

Inter Milan preview: Impressive Inter

Cristian Chivu has done a good job in charge of Internazionale as the Nerazzurri sit at the top-of-the-table in Serie A, having managed to defeat Juventus by three goals two in a controversial encounter in the Derby d’Italia at San Siro at the weekend.

Inter have had issues in so-called ‘big games’ this season but the last month or so has started to turn the tide with that victory against the Bianconeri, as well as a win against Borussia Dortmund at the Westfalenstadion a couple of weeks ago.

The energetic and intense Bodo/Glimt are blessed with a fully fit and available squad ahead of the visit of Inter to the Aspyrma Stadion in northern Europe.

Predicted XI (4-3-3): Khaikin; Sjovold, Bjortuft, Gundersen, Bjorkan; Evjen, Berg, Fet; Blomberg, Hogh, Hauge

Bodo/Glimt vs Inter Milan prediction

Bodo/Glimt have been brilliant in recent years when playing at home in Europe. From their famous 6-1 win against eventual winners Roma in the UEFA Europa Conference League in 2022 to their run to the UEL semis and then that victory against City a few weeks ago. Inter, though, are very good at flexing their muscles and beating teams that are simply worse than, regardless of the situation of where the game is.

Bodo/Glimt vs Inter Milan Tip: Inter Milan to win
