Bochum Team News: Change in midfield

Bochum will need to make a move in midfield with Sissoko suspended for this match. Miyoshi remains injured, so expect two of Bero, Krauss and Lossila to start for the hosts in the centre of midfield.

Predicted XI (3-4-3): Horn; Oermann, Medic, Ordets; Passlack, Bero, Krauss, Wittek; Masouras, Hofmann, Holtmann

Unavailable: Miyoshi (Injured), Sissoko (Suspended)

Questionable:

Union Berlin Team News: Full-back issues

Union Berlin are not only missing Josip Juranovic through injury, but they are also likely to be without Jerome Roussilon, meaning that Rothe may have to play at left-wing-back with Trimmel on the opposite side.

Predicted XI (3-5-2): Ronnow; Doekhi, Querfeld, Leite; Trimmel, Schafer, Khedira, Haberer, Rothe; Hollerbach, Ilic

Unavailable: Jeong (Injured), Juranovic (Injured), Kemlein (Injured), Skov (Injured)

Questionable: Roussillon (Injured)

Bochum vs Union Berlin Prediction

When taking into account the form book, Bochum have their work cut out for them, having lost their last five games after having stunned Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena. Union Berlin meanwhile, are unbeaten in their last six Bundesliga fixtures and are coming off the back of a thrilling 4-4 draw against Stuttgart.

Bochum’s penchant to concede goals should see Union afforded more attacking joy here, which may well lay the foundations to success from their point of view. However, a smart play would be backing both teams to score alongside an away win with Bochum expected to push bodies forward from very early on in their desperation to gain three points.

Bochum vs Union Berlin Tip: Union Berlin to win and both teams to score
