Key for Bochum to survive this season in the top flight is for them to improve defensively. Only Holstein Kiel have conceded more league goals than Bochum this campaign.

Stuttgart may not be able to find a win in the Bundesliga at present, but their dreams of cup glory remain firmly alive. Bochum have a huge opportunity here against a Stuttgart side missing plenty of first-team players and on the back of playing in midweek. Expect the hosts to really try and take the game to Hoeness’ men from an attacking point of view and it would be no surprise to see them get on the scoresheet at least once.
