Blackburn vs Wrexham prediction

Blackburn Rovers come into this one on the back of a goalless draw with crisis club Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough the other day. Valerien Ismael’s side, who missed out on the top six and the playoff places on the final day of last season, have been underwhelming throughout the campaign.

They now face a Wrexham side that, coached by Phil Parkinson, come into this one on the back of back-to-back victories against Sheffield United and then Preston North End. The Red Dragons now begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting just four points outside of the top six.

Blackburn will fancy themselves to at least make it awkward for a Wrexham side that are also coached to be relatively safety first, unless things go wrong, and a low-scoring clash seems likely.

Blackburn vs Wrexham tip: Under 2.5 goals
