Birmingham vs Mansfield prediction

After wrapping up the League One title a few weeks ago, Birmingham City have managed to get themselves to 102 points with the 106-point EFL record, set by Reading in 2006, now in their sights with three games to go. Chris Davies’ Blues defeated Stevenage by a goal to nil away from home the other night thanks to a late strike from left-back Alex Cochrane.

In contrast, Nigel Clough and his Mansfield Town side head into this weekend’s round of fixtures still in danger with the Stags sitting just four points above the bottom three and the relegation places with two games to go. They most recently suffered a 5-1 annihilation at the hands of playoff chasing Reading at Field Mill on Easter Monday.

Mansfield have won just twice since the fourth of January and Birmingham, especially with home advantage, will expect to have a bit of a party with a comfortable win in the second city.

Birmingham vs Mansfield tip: Birmingham to win -1 handicap
