Benin vs Mauritania Prediction

Benin come into this one on the back of earning themselves a 1-1 draw against Burkina Faso. The Beninese narrowly missed out on FIFA World Cup qualification and also reached the knockout stages of AFCON at the start of this year.

Mauritania began their AFCON qualification campaign with an impressive 3-1 defeat of the Central African Republic the other day. The Mauritanians showed improvement in the summer, too, with a draw against Angola and then a slender win against Niger.

Mauritania are becoming competitive once again and Benin may well be threatened in defence at a neutral venue but Benin do remain slight favourites.
