Bengaluru vs Goa Prediction

Bengaluru sent a message to the competition with their 5-0 thrashing of Mumbai City in the first round of this ISL post-season. Their reward for such a performance and result is a showdown with Goa, who finished with 48 points across the regular season, winning 14 of their 24 league games, losing half the fixtures Bengaluru did.

However, you cannot underestimate the power of momentum, which is very much in Bengaluru’s favour right now. With home advantage in the first-leg here, expect them to come out of the blocks flying and really look to take this game to Goa, who could well be caught cold. The visitors will need to defend strongly, but against an attacking side firing on all cylinders, that won’t be easy.

The likelihood is that we’ll see a fairly open first leg here despite the ramifications of either club suffering defeat and goals could well be on the menu. Therefore, consider backing over 2.5 goals regardless of which way this first-leg falls, if any.

Bengaluru vs Goa Tip: Over 2.5 goals
