Bayern Munich preview: Six-point gap
Bayern Munich head into the weekend six points clear of Borussia Dortmund in second-place, who continue to keep winning, putting the pressure on Vincent Kompany’s side to be flawless. Since that 2-2 draw away to Hamburg, the Rekordmeister have accumulated eight league goals and conceded just once in victories over Hoffenheim and Werder Bremen.
The league leaders also advanced through to the next round of the DFB-Pokal, overcoming RB Leipzig at the Allianz Arena. With ‘Der Klassiker’ on the horizon next weekend, this is a must-win contest from the perspective of Bayern, to maintain their cushion at the summit of the table going into that game.
Eintracht Frankfurt preview: Squad depleted
Whilst results for Eintracht Frankfurt have been decent so far under Albert Riera, with four points from their most recent two games, they travel to Munich with several players injured and will need to come up with something special to get anything from this one against the Bundesliga table toppers.
Last weekend saw Eintracht finally get themselves back to winning ways and they did so emphatically against Borussia Monchengladbach. Two goals inside the first 35 minutes set the tone before a third killed things off in the 75th minute, keeping Riera’s men in touch with the European places.

Bayern Munich vs Eintracht Frankfurt prediction
Matches involving either of these two teams this campaign have seen plenty of goalmouth action with the ball finding the net with regularity. The reverse fixture saw Bayern Munich triumph 0-3, Luis Diaz scoring twice and Harry Kane with the other goal. Those two, along with the returning Michael Olise will ensure a formidable Bayern attack and Eintracht Frankfurt are in for a long afternoon trying to keep them at bay.
Riera appears to have tightened up the visitors defensively and they should at least prove tougher to break down on this occasion. In the end though, the excellence of Bayern, their offensive depth and suffocating dominance of possession should see them comfortably through to three points. Back the hosts to triumph by at least two clear goals
