Bayern Munich Preview: Bayern brilliance

Bayern Munich have returned back to the perch in Germany, sitting back at the top-of-the-table, having been crowned Bundesliga champions last weekend despite themselves not doing the job against RB Leipzig at the Red Bull Arena last week.

Bayern could have won the league in Leipzig and thought they had when they came from 2-0 down last weekend to lead by three goals to two late on but they then conceded a 94th minute equaliser to Denmark international attacker Yussuf Poulsen.

Borussia Monchengladbach Preview: Entertaining Gladbach

Under the management of former Young Boys and Bayer Leverkusen boss Gerardo Seoane, Borussia Monchengladbach have been thrilling to watch throughout the last couple of seasons and their 32 Bundesliga matches have consisted of 109 goals.

The visitors come into this one on the back of a 4-3 defeat to Holstein Kiel being followed up by a 4-4 draw with Hoffenheim at Borussia-Park last weekend in which Germany international striker Tim Kleindienst scored a second-half stoppage-time winner for Gladbach.

Bayern Munich Team News: Kane returns

As Bayern prepare to lift the Bundesliga title, England captain Harry Kane has returned from his suspension but the Bavarians do have a few injury concerns with the likes of Hiroki Ito, Alphonso Davies and Jamal Musiala all still sidelined for the hosts.

Predicted XI (4-4-2): Urbig; Boey, Dier, Stanisic, Laimer; Olise, Kimmich, Pavlovic, Sane; Gnabry, Kane

Unavailable: Ito (Injured), Davies (Injured), Musiala (Injured)

Questionable: Buchmann (Injured), Upamecano (Injured), Kim (Injured), Guerreiro (Injured)

Borussia Monchengladbach Team News: A few injuries

Ahead of their trip to the Allianz Arena this weekend, Borussia Monchengladbach are dealing with a few injury concerns as both Moritz Nicolas and Nathan Ngoumou are definitely sidelined, whilst both Marvin Friedrich and Nico Elvedi are doubtful, too.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Omlin; Scally, Itakura, Chiarodia, Ullrich; Reitz, Weigl; Honorat, Stoger, Hack; Kleindienst

Unavailable: Nicolas (Injured), Ngoumou (Injured)

Questionable: Elvedi (Injured), Friedrich (Injured)

Bayern Munich vs Borussia Monchengladbach Prediction

Bayern Munich will want to finish off their season at the Allianz Arena with an excellent performance and a bit of a show so they will be seeking to add a few goals to the 93 goals that they have notched in their 32 games so far this season. They face a Borussia Monchengladbach side that have been entertaining throughout the campaign and their last five Bundesliga games have all featured both teams scoring with those games consisting of 25 goals. Bayern should win but it should be an absolute thriller in Munich.

Bayern Munich vs Borussia Monchengladbach Tip: Bayern Munich to win & over 2.5 goals
