Barrow vs MK Dons prediction

On the opening day of the campaign, Barrow suffered a slender 1-0 defeat to pre-season promotion contenders Chesterfield in Derbyshire, due to a goal scored by Dilan Markanday. Barrow are widely viewed as minnows, but their budget is far more than just being also-rans in the fourth-tier.

Milton Keynes Dons have a budget that has blown many clubs out of the water this summer, with the appointment of Paul Warne being followed by the signings of the likes of Gethin Jones, Will Collar, Nathaniel Mendez-Laing and Aaron Collins. They were, though, held to a goalless draw by Oldham Athletic on the opening day.

MK Dons have an extremely impressive squad and will be expected to challenge for the title, but Barrow will be keen on ensuring it continues to be a slow start for the visitors.

Barrow vs MK Dons tip: Under 2.5 goals
