Barnsley vs Bolton prediction

With Conor Hourihane at the helm, known for his long-range shooting, Barnsley have a plethora of attackers that shoot on sight and a desire to play gung-ho football, such as David McGoldrick, Adam Phillips and Davis Keillor-Dunn. The Tykes began with a 3-1 defeat of Plymouth Argyle at Home Park before coming from 2-0 down last week.

They managed to defeat Burton Albion by three goals to two before then defeating Fleetwood Town on penalties after a 2-2 draw in the cup. Bolton went out to Sheffield Wednesday instead, after a dramatic 3-3 draw. The Trotters began with a 2-0 loss to Stockport County before a 2-0 victory over Plymouth last weekend.

Bolton have some real talent out-wide and Barnsley are going to be open, but Barnsley have enough firepower that, with home advantage, should mark them out as favourites.

Barnsley vs Bolton tip: Barnsley to win & over 2.5 goals
