Barcelona vs Paris Saint-Germain prediction

Hansi Flick and his Barcelona side were brilliant throughout last season before a chaotic and dramatic defeat in extra-time to Internazionale in the semi-finals. The Blaugrana have started the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League season with a 2-1 victory over Newcastle United at St James’ Park a couple of weeks ago.

Defending champions Paris Saint-Germain are treble winners for the first time in their history after hammering Inter 5-0 in the final in Munich. PSG have won the UEFA Super Cup this season but haven’t quite hit their straps, albeit their best performance did come in this competition as they hammered Atalanta by four goals to nil.

The high-line of Barca will likely be exploited by PSG on the counter-attack but, as was recently shown against Marseille, being swarmed is a good way of getting at the Parisiens, and so this should be a thriller for the neutral, as it does appear on paper.

Barcelona vs Paris Saint-Germain Tip: Over 2.5 goals
