Barcelona have been rampant and relentless at the start of this season as they bid for a third successive La Liga title ahead of the visit of Getafe to Camp Nou on Saturday.

Barcelona preview: Brilliant Barca

Hansi Flick’s style of football is risky and has been exposed in Europe on occasion but the Blaugrana have been brilliant at the start of this season with Barcelona winning eight games from eight across all competitions.

In those eight matches, Barca have scored 36 goals. They went into the break on the back of coming from behind to defeat Sevilla by three goals to one with a Raphinha hat-trick – his 12th goal of the season in La Liga and 15th across all competitions already.

Getafe preview: Busy Getafe

Getafe qualified for the UEFA Europa Conference League last season and that is expected to lead to a dip domestically due to their busy schedule, which began with a defeat of Serbian giants Partizan Belgrade in the play-off round.

In La Liga, Jose Bordalas’ Getafe have won just two of their opening seven matches with their second victory seeing them edge past Malaga at the Coliseum in their most recent outing, courtesy of an 85th minute winner scored by Ivan Azon.

Barcelona team news: Key doubts

Barcelona have some key doubts for this one as Raphinha has suffered a thigh injury on international duty and Joan Garcia is working his way back to full fitness after a knee injury sustained against Racing Santander last month.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Livakovic; Kounde, Cubarsi, Gerard Martin, Cancelo; Rodri, Pedri; Lamine Yamal, Fermin, Gordon; Gabriel Jesus

Unavailable: Christensen (Injured), De Jong (Injured), Bardghji (Injured)

Questionable: Joan Garcia (Injured), Eric Garcia (Injured), Raphinha (Injured)

Getafe team news: Defensive doubts

Getafe head to Camp Nou with a couple of defenders working their way back to full fitness, Abdel Abqar and Kiko Femenia, while Christantus Uche and Juanmi remain sidelined.

Predicted XI (4-4-2): David Soria; Djene, Sazonov, Romero, Johan Mojica; Ramon Terrats, Gudelj, Mangala, Martin Satriano; Unal, Ivan Azon

Unavailable: Uche (Injured), Juanmi (Injured)

Questionable: Abqar (Fitness), Kiko Femenia (Fitness)

Barcelona vs Getafe prediction

Typical of the extremely hostile and aggressive Jose Bordalas style of football, Getafe have scored just four goals in their seven matches in La Liga. They remain defensively solid, which is a bit different as to what Barcelona have faced thus far. A high-scoring affair seems unlikelier than usual for a Barca game as Getafe are unlikely to get themselves in behind at Camp Nou. That said, Barca should still win quite comfortably.

Barcelona vs Getafe tip: Barcelona to win -1 handicap
