Barcelona vs Bayern Munich prediction

A hugely competitive first leg in Germany finished 1-1 between Bayern and Barcelona, but the Spanish side will be somewhat disappointed that they were unable to secure an aggregate advantage given that their opponents were reduced to ten players in the second half.

Be that as it may, the three-time European champions are still in pole position to reach another final given that they boast home advantage in this second leg, and the potential return of superstar Aitana Bonmati only serves to help their cause.

Bayern won't lie down easily though. The German champions have only lost one game across all competitions this season, which happened to come against Barcelona in the league phase, and they proved in the first leg that they are not intimidated by Barca's star-studded squad.

Indeed, the visitors boast some match-winners themselves in the form of Klara Buhl and Pernille Harder, so it would not be a surprise to see them breach the Catalan defence once more.

The hosts are the favourites, but we think there is value to be had in the goals markets here, given the abundance of attacking talent on display.

Barcelona vs Bayern Munich tip: Over 4.5 goals
