Barcelona vs Alaves Prediction

Barcelona have had something of a mad start to the year. The Catalans’ 2-2 draw with Atalanta in midweek ensured a second place finish in the league phase of the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League in midweek a week after coming from 4-2 down to beat Benfica by five goals to four with those two hectic matches sandwiching a 7-1 demolition of Valencia in La Liga. There have been 42 goals in Barca’s eight matches across all competitions in 2025. Alaves come into this one on the back of a 1-1 draw with Celta Vigo in the Basque Country at the weekend and they have managed just one win in seven matches since the appointment of Eduardo Coudet. They are trying to play a more adventurous and attacking style of football under the former Celta Vigo boss. That should mean another high-scoring affair that Barcelona come out on top of.

Barcelona vs Alaves Tip: Barcelona to win & over 2.5 goals
