AZ Alkmaar vs Slovan Bratislava prediction

AZ Alkmaar started the league phase of the UEFA Europa Conference League with a 4-0 hammering at the hands of Cypriot outfit AEK Larnaca a few weeks ago. They come into this one, though, on the back of an impressive and famous 2-0 victory at the Johan Cruyff Arena against Ajax at the weekend.

Slovan Bratislava qualified for the UEFA Champions League last season but defeats to Kairat on penalties in that competition and then to Young Boys in the UEFA Europa League has left them in the third-tier of UEFA club competition. They started their league phase campaign with a 2-1 defeat at home to Strasbourg.

That performance against the big spending French side means that they have shown an impressive level of competitiveness and should be a tough test for an AZ side that have to remain favourites.

AZ Alkmaar vs Slovan Bratislava tip: AZ to win & both teams to score
