Auxerre vs Strasbourg prediction

Auxerre come into this one on the back of a steady run of form with their entertaining 2-2 draw against Lorient last week meaning that they have now suffered just one defeat in their last five matches in Ligue 1 as they begin the weekend in the relegation playoff place ahead of this match day.

Gary O'Neil has done a generally good job since replacing Liam Rosenior as the Strasbourg boss and the visitors once again won in midweek as they defeated Stade de Reims by two goals to one in the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France at Stade de la Meinau.

Strasbourg will be expected to finish this season with a bit of a flourish but they haven't been consistent in the league and, with home advantage, Auxerre may be awkward opposition.

Auxerre vs Strasbourg tip: Double chance – Auxerre to win or draw
