Auckland FC vs Newcastle Jets prediction

Auckland FC rang in 2025 at the summit of the A-League and now look to establish some breathing room between themselves and second-placed Sydney FC for the time being, as Newcastle Jets attempt to climb up the table after having lost six of their ten league games. The Jets are one of three teams yet to draw in the league this season and it’s unlikely that we’ll see their first here, when taking into account the quality of their opponents.

Offensively, things are clicking nicely for Auckland FC who boast at least two goals in each of their last three matches, all of which have ended in victory. That bodes well for them against the leakiest defence in the league, who are averaging over two goals conceded per game. Expect Auckland to overwhelm this Jets backline and secure another three points.
