Auckland FC vs Adelaide United prediction

So far this season, Adelaide United has been on both the right end and the wrong end of a 2-1 scoreline. They travel to Auckland FC, who backed up their 0-0 draw away at Melbourne Victory with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Western Sydney Wanderers, putting them in a strong position early on as one of three teams to have gained four points from two games.

All signs point to this being another close contest, as we’ve seen in every league fixture so far involving at least one of these two clubs. It’s unlikely that we’ll see many goals with Auckland yet to concede this season and with home advantage, that possibly gives them an edge. Backing them and under 3.5 goals warrants consideration.

Auckland FC vs Adelaide United tip: Auckland FC to win and under 3.5 goals
