That was followed up by keeping Benfica to goalless until the 53rd minute of the game, but eventually going on to lose by six goals to nil.
In a fiery and entertaining opener, Boca gave up a 2-0 lead against Benfica to eventually share a 2-2 draw with the Portuguese giants. The Argentinians then showed themselves to be very competitive against Bayern, but eventually succumbed to a 2-1 loss against the Bavarians due to a late Michael Olise winner.
Boca need to rack up a score here to stand a chance of overtaking Benfica in the top two of Group B and they will be expected to do just that against the New Zealanders.
