Atletico Madrid preview: In the hunt

Ahead of the final match day of the league phase of the UEFA Champions League, Atletico Madrid remain one of eight teams sat on 13 points in the hunt for a top eight finish and a spot in the knockout playoff round.

Los Rojiblancos come into this one on the back of an impressive and comfortable 3-0 defeat of Real Mallorca in La Liga at the weekend, meaning that they have now suffered just one loss in their last ten matches across all competitions.

Bodo/Glimt preview: Bodo have given themselves a push

Bodo/Glimt, UEFA Europa League semi-finalists last season, have given themselves a real chance of finishing in the top 24 after an extremely impressive performance and result at the Aspyrma Stadium in the Arctic Circle last week.

Welcoming Manchester City to northern Norway, Bodo/Glimt managed to dispatch of the Cityzens by three goals to one, courtesy of a brace scored by reported Norwich City target Kasper Hogh, as well as a strike scored by Jens Petter Hauge.

Atletico Madrid team news: No Griezmann

Atletico are now without the experienced former France international attacker Antoine Griezmann, who is unavailable for the visit of Bodo/Glimt due to a key thigh injury.

Predicted XI (4-4-2): Oblak; Llorente, Pubill, Hancko, Ruggeri; Simeone, Koke, Barrios, Almada; Sorloth, Alvarez

Unavailable: Griezmann (Injured)

Questionable:

Bodo/Glimt team news: Fully fit

Bodo/Glimt head to the Metropolitano with no fresh injury concerns or suspension issues and so they will be able to name an unchanged eleven for this one.

Predicted XI (4-3-3): Khaikin; Sjovold, Bjortuft, Gundersen, Bjorkan; Evjen, Berg, Fet; Blomberg, Hogh, Hauge

Unavailable:

Questionable:

Atletico Madrid vs Bodo/Glimt prediction

Bodo/Glimt have been plucky throughout this tournament and had previously bloodied the nose of the likes of Borussia Dortmund and Tottenham Hotspur ahead of that win against City. Atletico Madrid will remain firm favourites for this one, especially with their home advantage, but it could be quite a fun watch for the neutral in which Bodo are effective on the counter-attack in the Spanish capital city.

Atletico Madrid vs Bodo/Glimt Tip: Atletico Madrid to win & both teams to score
