It was an absolute thriller in the first-leg of this Copa del Rey semi-final between these two before another memorable and chaotic clash in La Liga last month ahead of this second-leg.

Atletico Madrid vs Barcelona Prediction

The first-leg of this tie was a thriller in Barcelona as Atletico took a 2-0 lead, went 4-2 down and eventually scraped back for a 4-4 draw. Since then, Los Rojiblancos have more or less been knocked out of La Liga’s title race with just one point collected from their last three matches as well as UEFA Champions League elimination on penalties at the hands of Real Madrid.

One of those defeats in La Liga came in another topsy turvy clash between these two sides at the Metropolitano a few weeks ago. Atletico led by two goals to nil before a late and remarkable comeback from the Blaugrana with Barca winning 4-2 and Hansi Flick’s Catalans are now in an excellent position to win the treble.

Atletico’s season could well entirely revolve around this game and the clash of styles between these two have produced some thrillers recently so both teams scoring again looks a good bet.

Atletico Madrid vs Barcelona Tip: Both teams to score
