Atalanta come into this one on the back of a 2-2 draw with Lazio in the first-leg of their Coppa Italia semi-final at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome in midweek, a few days after they had succumbed to a 2-1 loss to Sassuolo in Serie A.
Aside from that, though, Atalanta have been exceptionally impressive after the appointment of Raffaele Palladino, including a recent dramatic turnaround against Borussia Dortmund in the knockout playoff round of the UEFA Champions League.
Udinese preview: Mid-table Friulians
Udinese begin the 28th match day of the 2025/26 Serie A season sitting just about tucked inside the top-half of the table and the inconsistent Friulians did earn themselves a victory to end a three-match losing streak last week.
Udinese managed to hammer Fiorentina by three goals to nil at the Bluenergy Stadium last week, courtesy of goals from former Watford duo Christian Kabasele and Keinan Davis, as well as an Adam Buksa strike in second-half stoppage-time.
