Atalanta vs Roma prediction
Atalanta got the appointment of Ivan Juric wrong in the summer but have since improved by replacing him with a disciple of Gasperini, Raffaele Palladino. However, the Bergamasci do now come into this one on the back of a slender 1-0 defeat at home to league leading Internazionale last weekend.
They now face a Roma side that, with Gasperini now at the helm at the Stadio Olimpico, begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting tucked inside the top four and the UEFA Champions League spots. The Giallorossi got back to winning ways with a 3-1 defeat of Genoa last week.
Roma haven’t quite hit their attacking best yet under Gasperini but the visitors will know that they can exploit the weaknesses of the Atalanta defence and so both teams scoring may well be a good bet for this one in the north of Italy.
