Atalanta vs Napoli prediction

Ever since the appointment of Raffaele Palladino, Atalanta have been much-improved and they come into this one on the back of a nine-match unbeaten run of form in domestic competition. They were beaten 2-0 by Borussia Dortmund in the first-leg of their UEFA Champions League knockout playoff round tie in midweek.

They now face a Napoli side that have struggled in the defence of their Italian title. Antonio Conte’s Partenopei fought back to share a 2-2 draw with Roma at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona last weekend but they do now sit 11 points adrift of league leaders Internazionale.

Napoli will simply be seeking to try and ensure they are back in the UEFA Champions League for next season, while Atalanta have European distractions of their own for the time being and so siding with the visitors may well be the way to go.

Atalanta vs Napoli tip: Double chance – Napoli to win or draw
