Aston Villa vs Burnley prediction

After a poor start to the season which saw them fail to score in their first four league games, Aston Villa look to have turned a corner of late.

Now unbeaten in their last four games in all competitions, Unai Emery's side are riding a three-game winning streak and picked up their first Premier League victory of the campaign with a 3-1 triumph against Fulham at Villa Park last weekend.

A 0-2 win away at Dutch side Feyenoord in the UEFA Europa League followed on Thursday, and they now take on a Burnley side who currently sit in the bottom three.

The Clarets' only league win of the campaign so far has come against fellow promoted side Sunderland, and they look like they will struggle to stay in the division with a distinct lack of squad depth likely going to cost them.

The mood has turned in the Villa camp, and with Ollie Watkins, on the scoresheet last weekend, very much a confidence player, we're backing the England international to find the net in a home win.
