Key stats

  • This is the first meeting between Aruba and Macau.
  • Aruba have played AFC teams three times: two home friendlies against Guam in 2014 (2-2, 2-0) and a 2-1 win in Cambodia in 2025. Their only other non‑Concacaf match was a 3-0 loss to Venezuela in 2010.
  • Aruba have lost just one of their last five games (W2 D2).
  • Macau are facing Concacaf opposition for the first time. Their only matches against non‑AFC sides were home defeats to Mauritius (1-0, 2018) and the Solomon Islands (4-1, 2018). They also met Kazakhstan twice when Kazakhstan were still in the AFC.

Aruba vs Macau prediction

Aruba are ranked 191st in the world, under the management of Marvic Bermudez. The North Americans have suffered just one defeat, at home to Haiti, in their last five matches, most recently hammering Barbados by three goals to nil.

Macau, on the other hand, are 193rd with interim coach Liu Weijia at the helm. The Greens, as they are nicknamed, have already played twice this year with a 2-0 loss to Guandong XI before a 3-2 victory against the same opposition.

In a tournament that also has Tanzania and Liechtenstein, this is quite a good chance for Aruba to continue their improved 2025 and siding with them is the way to go for this one.

Aruba vs Macau tip: Aruba to win & under 3.5 goals
