Arsenal vs Wigan prediction

Arsenal are in the final of the EFL Cup and they finished at the top of the UEFA Champions League league phase table but the Gunners could only extend their lead at the top-of-the-table in the Premier League to four points on Thursday as they were pegged back to a 1-1 draw with Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium.

The speculation is that Gary Caldwell will take charge of Wigan from Exeter City after the weekend but the returning Scotsman has yet to be appointed, following the sacking of Ryan Lowe last weekend as the Latics slipped into the bottom four and the League One relegation places after a 6-1 loss to Peterborough United.

Wigan are a very poor side and will be battling to avoid dropping into the fourth-tier this spring and it is a case of how many Arsenal will score at the Emirates.

Arsenal vs Wigan tip: Arsenal to win -2 handicap
