Arsenal vs OL Lyonnes prediction

Arsenal's defence of their UEFA Women's Champions League crown continued with a 3-2 aggregate win against Women's Super League rivals Chelsea in the quarter-finals, and they now take on OL Lyonnes for the second time this season after they lost 1-2 to the French side on Matchday 1.

The Gunners haven't been in action since 5 April, when they lost 0-2 to Brighton in the quarter-finals of the FA Women's Cup.

Eight-time winners OL Lyonnes navigated their way through a tricky quarter-final as they recovered from a first-leg defeat to beat Wolfsburg 4-1 on aggregate.

The French outfit were unbeaten in this season's competition prior to that first-leg defeat, and now take on an Arsenal side they have beaten on all five occasions they have faced them in England.

Arsenal carry the confidence of being the reigning European champions though, so this is shaping up to be an evenly-matched first leg in London. You have to think that OL will be happy to take a draw ahead of the return leg in France, and it would not be a surprise to see this end all square at the Emirates.

Arsenal vs OL Lyonnes tip: Draw
