Aiming to get their title ambitions back on track, Arsenal host one of the surprise packages in the Premier League this season, as domestic football resumes after the international break.

Kick-off date/time: Saturday 23rd November, 2024: UK – 3:00pm / US ET – 10:00am / US PT – 7:00am

How to watch on TV: UK – Not televised / US – Peacock

How to watch online: UK – Cannot be streamed / US – Peacock Premium

Arsenal Preview: Gunners derailed

It may still be relatively early in the season, but Arsenal are in danger of losing touch in the title race after picking up just two points from the last 12 available. Indeed, if they fail to win here it would be their longest stretch without a Premier League victory for almost four years.

The Gunners' last encounter before the international window was the clash with Chelsea, Pedro Neto cancelling out Gabriel Martinelli's opener in a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge.

Nottingham Forest Preview: Fifth in the table

After three excellent wins in a row, Nottingham Forest looked to be heading for a fourth after going ahead against Newcastle last time out, but three second-half goals from the Magpies turned the game around at the City Ground.

The was just the second Premier League defeat of the season for Nuno Espirito Santo's men, while they remain unbeaten away from home having picked up 11 points from a possible 15 on their travels.

Arsenal Team News: Rice & Saka doubtful, White out for months

Mikel Arteta stated that Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka took part in some aspects of training on Friday so it remains to be seen whether or not they make Saturday's squad, while Leandro Trossard has also trained after picking up a knock for Belgium.

With Ben White set to be out for months after going under the knife for a knee injury, Riccardo Calafiori - who has recovered from his own knee issue - could be thrust into the right-back slot, with the versatile Thomas Partey another option.

Predicted XI (4-3-3): Raya; Calafiori, Saliba, Gabriel, Timber; Partey, Rice, Odegaard; Saka, Havertz, Martinelli

Unavailable: White (Injured), Tomiyasu (Injured), Tierney (Fitness)

Questionable: Rice (Injured), Saka (Injured), Trossard (Injured)

Nottingham Forest Team News: Vague from Santo

As usual, there was little in the way of detailed team news from Santo, who simply stated that 'some players' were being monitored. Elliot Anderson is likely to be one of them as the midfielder has been dealing with a foot injury recently.

Long-term absentees Ibrahim Sangare and Danilo are definitely out, however.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Sels; Aina, Milenkovic, Murillo, Moreno; Yates, Domiguez; Elanga, Gibbs-White, Hudson-Odoi; Wood

Unavailable: Danilo (Injured), Sangare (Injured)

Questionable: Anderson (Injured)

Arsenal vs Nottingham Forest Prediction

Few would have predicted that Arsenal and Nottingham Forest would be locked on the same number of points after 11 games, but that is indeed the case ahead of the pair's meeting at the Emirates.

The international break probably came at a good time for Arsenal, who needed to reset after falling off the pace at the top of the table. Nottingham Forest, one of the surprise packages in the Premier League this season, are hardly an ideal opponent to get back on track though, with Santo's men unbeaten away from home this season. If Arsenal do grind out a result here, it is likely to be low scoring.

Arsenal vs Nottingham Forest Tip: Arsenal to win & under 2.5 goals
