Armenia vs Georgia Prediction

Armenia won their first and last games in the league phase of the UEFA Nations League with three draws and a defeat in between as they now take on a Georgia side that are chock full of emerging stars under the management of Willy Sagnol.

The Armenians’ two victories both came against Latvia with a win in Yerevan in the opener and then a victory in Riga in their closer. Latvia finished the group stage just four points from their six matches so it perhaps shows what those two Armenian victories really mean, finishing nine points behind group winners North Macedonia.

Georgia, with a squad headlined by the likes of Giorgi Mamardashvili, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Georges Mikautadze, reached the Round of 16 of UEFA EURO 2024, defeating Portugal and then taking the lead against Spain, so it was quite an underwhelming UEFA Nations League campaign as they collected just seven points and finished above Albania on goal difference.

Armenia could only defeat a Latvia side that are one of the weakest sides in Europe, so, whilst Georgia slightly underperformed, they are the firm favourites for this one in Yerevan.

Armenia vs Georgia Tip: Georgia to win
