Three games played and three wins. The group stage could not have gone better for Argentina, who registered goals and conceded just two on their way to topping Group D. Victories over Italy, Australia and Cuba were all fairly convincing and they’ll enter this round of 16 clash as red-hot favourites against Nigeria, who ended on four points in Group F.
Expect Argentina to boss the game and Nigeria to try and pack bodies behind the ball in a bid to make themselves as difficult to breakdown as possible. But eventually, their backline should find themselves overwhelmed by this quality Argentine attack, leading to a win by at least two clear goals.
