Argentina vs England prediction

It was an under-strength England side that faced Argentina in La Plata last weekend, but they delivered an excellent display to triumph 35-12 over the Pumas.

With many of England’s first-teamers currently on Lions duty, the depth of talent available to Steve Borthwick was made clear as they were clearly superior against an Argentina side who have made great strides in recent times.

It was a somewhat surprisingly lackluster performance from the Pumas, who only recently delivered an excellent display to defeat the British and Irish Lions 28-24 victory.

Expect a stronger Argentina performance here, with head coach Felipe Contepomi demanding a response, but England showed enough last week to make us believe they can repeat the feat in San Juan.
