Argentina vs Colombia prediction

Argentina show no signs of slowing down despite having qualified for the World Cup some time ago and they remain the standout team in South America right now.

Despite leaving Lionel Messi on the bench and their motivation understandably lower than normal, they still eased to victory in Chile last week and they now welcome Colombia aiming to pick up another three points.

The visitors could only manage a point against Peru last week at home which was a poor result against a weak team and Venezuela’s win over Bolivia will have them looking over their shoulders right now.

Colombia will likely approach this with caution but it is hard to see them getting anything out of arguably the best team in the world right now. However, with star men Messi and Lautaro Martinez being carefully looked after, do not expect the hosts to by firing on all cylinders so we anticipate a low-scoring game.

Argentina vs Colombia tip: Under 3.5 total goals
