Argentina vs Colombia prediction

This has all the makings of a classic encounter between two fierce rivals in Argentina and Colombia. The latter have discovered their shooting boots, scoring three times in both the round of 16 and quarter-final stage, whilst Argentina have been excellent all tournament, winning all five of their games and have also racked up three consecutive clean sheets.

It’s that solid backline that perhaps gives Argentina the edge here, with Colombia having conceded at least one goal in each of their last three games. Argentina’s attacking play is so good that they will be expected to find the net over the course of 90 minutes against Colombia and it would be no surprise if they did so more than once. It’s tough to see Colombia matching Argentina’s offensive production, so back another win for Diego Placente’s side, booking their place in the final.

Argentina vs Colombia tip: Argentina to win
