Arda vs HJK Helsinki prediction

Kazakh Premier League outfit Arda Kardzhali qualified for the UEFA Europa Conference League this season after finishing fourth in the table in the 2024/25 campaign, under the management of Aleksandar Tunchev. They have only ever played one European tie before, a defeat to Hapoel Be’er Sheva in the 2021/22 UECL season.

They now face a HJK Helsinki side that pulled off a remarkable comeback to defeat NSI Runavik, of the Faroe Islands, last week. HJK suffered a shock 4-0 hammering at the hands of NSI in the first-leg of that tie, before fighting back to 4-4 on aggregate and then winning the game in extra-time in the Finnish capital last week.

Arda will have to take time to develop and fit into European competition this season, but HJK have shown their frailty away from home, so it might be quite a fun watch for the neutral.

Arda vs HJK Helsinki tip: Over 2.5 goals
