In the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League, Araz-Naxcivan managed to overcome Greek Super League outfit Aris Thessaloniki by four goals to three on aggregate in a surprising victory last week.

Cypriot clubs have been very impressive in Europe in the last couple of years, particularly in this competition, and Omonia are seeking to continue and improve upon that. Omonia come into this one on the back of hammering Georgian outfit Torpedo Kutaisi in the previous round. They won by a goal to nil in Nicosia in the first-leg, before then hammering them by four goals to nil in the second-leg.

Araz-Naxcivan are one of the weakest sides, or at least teams with the lowest pedigree, and Omonia would have to be seen as the favourites for both legs of this tie this week.
