Angers Preview: In the battle
Angers gained promotion to the top-flight last season and were steady and competitive for much of the campaign but the hosts have hit a really rough patch of form at the wrong time in the last couple of months to mean they are still hovering just above the drop.
The hosts come into this one on the back of a much-needed and slender 1-0 defeat of Nantes at Stade de la Beaujoire in their most recent outing last weekend thanks to a 52nd minute winner scored by Jim Allevinah to give the hosts a good shot of staying up.
Strasbourg Preview: Pushing for UCL
After an inconsistent first-half to the campaign, former Hull City boss Liam Rosenior has since earned himself a new contract at Strasbourg with the Alsace-based club now pushing for a top four finish and potential UEFA Champions League qualification in Ligue 1.
The hosts managed to pull off a 2-1 defeat of champions Paris Saint-Germain at Stade de la Meinau last weekend. Strasbourg led 2-0 at half-time thanks to a Lucas Hernandez own goal and a Felix Lemarcehal strike before Bradley Barcola pulled a goal back in the second-half.

Angers vs Strasbourg Prediction
Angers have scored just 30 goals in their 32 games so far this season with only bottom-of-the-table and cut adrift Montpellier having scored fewer than them. They were defensive in promotion last season, too, and will hope to secure survival with reactive football. However, they face an in-form and confident Strasbourg side that are going for Europe and, even if they have to grind things out, will fancy their chances at Stade Raymond Kopa.
