They have started their CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores group stage campaign with one draw and one defeat in their opening two matches.

They now face a Talleres de Cordoba side that remain without a manager and, in contrast to their upcoming Peruvian outfit, the visitors’ opening two group stage games have been defeats. They most recently suffered a 1-0 loss to Velez Sarsfield in the Argentina Primera Division at the Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes at the weekend.
