Algeria have already wrapped up qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup as they now seek to finish their campaign with a flourish against Uganda this week.

Algeria vs Uganda Prediction

Algeria come into this one on the back of a comfortable 3-0 defeat of Somalia at the Miloud Hadefi Stadium last week, courtesy of a strike from Riyad Mahrez as well as a brace scored by Wolfsburg striker Mohamed Amoura. The Algerian B team has also beaten Palestine in a couple of friendlies during this October international break.

They now face a Uganda side that have been competitive in this campaign and are looking to wrap up runner up spot in Group G in order to get into the CAF playoffs. They took a massive step towards that the other day as they defeated Botswana by a goal to nil to make it four successive victories in qualifying.

Uganda will have the higher levels of motivation for this one and they could therefore prove to be difficult opposition for an already qualified Algeria side in Algiers.
