Although Niger are eliminated from knockout contention having failed to win any of their three Group C fixtures played so far, they have proven tricky customers to get the better of. In three matches, Niger have conceded only three goals, losing twice and holding South Africa to a 0-0 draw, dealing their qualification hopes a big blow in the process.
Algeria will need to be clinical with the chances they create, like they were against Uganda earlier in the group stage. Since then, they’ve drawn twice, 1-1 on each occasion.
